I was born in november 1958.
I am a distinguished Professor at [Grenoble Institute of Technology] ...
... senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France [IUF] ...
... working at Laboratoire d'Informatique de Grenoble [LIG] in the team-project MOAIS-INRIA.
I am a member of the ACM and the IEEE Computer Society.
Brief overview of my research interests
I am interested in the design and the analysis of efficient algorithms for optimizing the use of resources (whatever they are) in parallel and distributed systems (large-scale multi-core machines, GPU accelerators, computational grids, clouds or Embedded systems). I mainly focus in the design of approximation algorithms for scheduling and packing problems, in multi-objective optimization and its links with Game Theory. I am also working in scheduling considering fault-tolerance issues.
