I was born in november 1958.
I am a distinguished Professor at [Grenoble Institute of Technology] ...
... senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France [IUF] ...
... working at Laboratoire d'Informatique de Grenoble [LIG] in the team-project MOAIS-INRIA.
I am a member of the ACM and the IEEE Computer Society.
Brief overview of my research interestsI am interested in the design and the analysis of efficient algorithms for optimizing the use of resources (whatever they are) in parallel and distributed systems (large-scale multi-core machines, GPU accelerators, computational grids, clouds or Embedded systems). I mainly focus in the design of approximation algorithms for scheduling and packing problems, in multi-objective optimization and its links with Game Theory. I am also working in scheduling considering fault-tolerance issues.
