I was born in november 1958.

I am a distinguished Professor at Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP)

I am working at [LIG] (Laboratoire d’Informatique de Grenoble in the team-project MOAIS).

Presentation

My main research activities concern the design and the analysis of efficient algorithms for optimizing the resources in parallel and distributed systems (large-scale multi-core machines, computational grids or Embedded systems). Today, I am particularly interested in designing approximation algorithms for scheduling and packing problems, in multi-objective optimization and its links with Game Theory and in fault-tolerance issues.
